Graphycal Abstract: 3-Anilinomethylpropionate was evaluated as a corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in 0.5 M H₂SO₄ using weight loss, polarization resistance, Tafel polarization, and impedance spectroscopy techniques. The compound exhibited mixed-type inhibition with 96.5% efficiency at 70 ppm. Increasing inhibitor concentration enhanced charge transfer resistance while reducing double-layer capacitance, confirming effective surface adsorption and corrosion protection.
